COMMENTS:

After Jose's divorce from Rick Jarrard, RCA think only to make compilations of his past (and forget of promote his conterporary albums), after "Encore", this "Sings" with some classics and other originals for first time in LP, like "A Man A Woman", "Hurtin' Inside" and the first RCA recording (1964) of "Everybody" Do The Click".

From the LP back cover

It's always interesting to be around at the start of something. In the music business, the first recording by a new talent can be exciting. Will he develop into star material? Is he, indeed, already equipped with that unexplainable something that means "star" ?

This album is, in a way, a little bit of history because it includes the very first RCA record of a very young Jose Feliciano. The song was called Everybody Do the Ciick and it marked the real beginning of a very real star. It is re-released here along with a variety of Feliciano songs that cover many other sessions, many moods.

This new album then is an interestingl entertaining compilation of a talent complete, singing, playing and working his own kind of magic over each spirited performance. It is Jose Feliciano doing his thing!
